New to US and about curricular activities and leadership skills

Leadership Skills

hello there, I’m a kid who just got here to US. Admitted to a high school, I’m going to be a junior when school starts. My academic status is pretty good. I would really like to be admitted to an Ivy league college after I graduate. I heard that they look not only for academic achievements but skills and participance in various activities as well. The problem here is I’ve done a lot of these in my previous school which is in Asia. So I was wondering if here in America, would they accept all these things that I had did from my previous school or would they only accept the ones I did here.

i would be active here. why take a chance on them not accepting what you did in Asia. plus, i think that they will look at what you have done recently. Just participate as much as you can! it will only benefit you!
