The Engineering Program at University of Illinois would be perfect for me. I have a great passion for constructing buildings and building new ideas. For example, in my engineering class I developed and constructed a new kind of toy boat. This boat was different from other kinds of boats because it was in a box form. After twisting a few locks, the box would become a small toy boat. I also like being a leader. Leaders are very important when it comes to engineering. Leaders have to tell the construction workers and architect’s when, where, and how the job is being done. To exercise my leadership skills I play a lot of war games. Being the Leader in those games helps me practice my directorship. I command soldiers and the artillery where to go, when they should attack, and how the should attack. Being a leader demonstrates great qualities for being an engineer.
